How Tesla’s new over-the-air software will enhance the X.
The all-electric car and energy company has pushed its newest software update, the 8.1, on May 5, the update is equipped with new Autosteer and Autopilot 2.0 features. The Autosteer now has a speed limit of 5 mph (8 km/h) faster than the detected speed limit when speed limit offset is not specified. The maximum speed the vehicle can drive becomes just 45 mph (72 km/h).

Model X is Tesla’s proudest creation. It is the safest and fastest sports utility vehicle in history, with an ability to accelerate from zero to 60 miles (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds, providing 295 miles of range. It has a medical grade HEPA filter to remove pollen, bacteria, viruses, pollution. A front trunk to absorb crumple zone. A mighty battery support structure to provide incredible side impact protection, as well as active safety sensors.
The Model X offers practicality in its prettiest form. It accommodates up to seven passengers. The seats are designed to maximize comfortability. On Tesla’s website, the company highlights the X’s second-row seats with their wide legroom, under seat storage and access to third-row seats which can be folded when not in use.
Finally, the Falcon Wing doors enable owners to access the second and third-row seats even in the tightest parking areas, needing only one foot of clearance, without compromising safety.
Model X was awarded one of the most notable automotive awards in the world, the Golden Steering Wheel (Das Goldene Lenkrad) in 2016. Post a three-day judgment period by a jury of professional race car drivers, design, digital, and connectivity experts as well as editors and accomplished technicians.
